The diesel mechanic/technician will performs journeyman-level work in repairing, trouble shooting and maintaining diesel powered equipment, specifically Class 8 tractors and trailers.The Diesel Mechanic/Technician must know a wide range of mechanical procedures to include electrical, computerized systems, fuel systems, brakes, suspensions, preventative maintenance, welding, fabrication, and any other related work.
Diesel Mechanic/Technician Role Responsibilities:
- Work on and repair Class 8 Diesel fleet vehicles,equipment and trailers
- Experience using diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting and repair
- Determine vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests
- Perform system repairs to include engines, transmission, air and hydraulic systems, tires, drive-train, steering and suspension, electrical and A/C.
- Perform all preventive maintenance inspections, state and federal mandated safety inspections and complete repairs in accordance with DOT requirements
- WeekendsOFF!!
- Monday thru Friday!
- 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Basic math skills
- Must have a minimum of 3 years related experience as a diesel mechanic
- Skilled in engine system diagnostics and repair
- Knowledge of hydraulics
- Own set of tools
- The ability to frequently lift and/or move items weighing up to 75 pounds
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Great mechanical aptitude and work ethic
- Computer proficiency with MS Office and TMT
- Able to pass pre-employment drug screen
