We are seeking a Operations Manager to lead overnight transportation operations at our Louisville distribution center. This role ensures safe, efficient, and on-time execution of routes while actively managing compliance, driver accountability, and real-time event monitoring through Lytx. The Operations Manager also owns the discipline, backhaul, and damage trackers, ensuring consistency in coaching, corrective action, and performance management. In addition, this role provides direct leadership to the Transportation Supervisorsassigned to the night shift, ensuring alignment, accountability, and operational excellence across the team. As Operations Manager, you'll play a critical role in shaping a safety-first, performance-driven culture, while directly managing both supervisors and drivers. You'll have the tools, authority, and support to make an immediate impact on safety, service, and accountability.

Essential Functions Operations Manager
- Oversee nightly dispatch, driver coverage, supervisor oversight, and yard management.
- Manage, coach, and develop Transportation Supervisors to ensure strong leadership presence on every shift.
- Monitor Lytx events(harsh braking, speeding, distractions) and conduct immediate coaching.
- Maintain the discipline tracker, applying Work Rules and progressive discipline consistently.
- Ensure compliance with DOT/FMCSA Hours-of-Serviceregulations.
- Adjust schedules and staffing in real time to support volume, call-outs, and late closeouts.
- Partner with warehouse, safety, and leadership teams to resolve overnight issues.
- Submit concise morning reports on service, safety, discipline actions, and supervisor performance.

Operations Manager (DOT) Requirements
- 3+ years of leadership experience in transportation, logistics, or distribution.
- Prior experience managing supervisors and frontline staffin a 24/7 operation.
- Hands-on experience with Lytx or other driver event monitoring systems.
- Strong knowledge of progressive discipline processes and labor compliance.
- Solid understanding of DOT/FMCSA regulationsand HOS management.
- Proficiency in dispatch systems, Excel, and reporting tools.
- Strong communication and leadership skills; ability to coach and hold supervisors and driversaccountable.
- Flexible availability for peak periods, holidays, and emergency coverage.
