• Perform routine, emergency, and preventive maintenance on forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, order pickers, and other powered industrial trucks and MHE.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, including brakes, steering, mast/hoist components, drive systems, and controls.
• Inspect and maintain batteries, chargers, LP/gas/diesel systems, and electric drive components to ensure proper performance and compliance with safety standards.
• Use diagnostic tools (voltmeters, ohmmeters, scan tools, test stands) and technical manuals/schematics to identify faults and determine required repairs.
• Replace or rebuild worn and defective parts, including hydraulics, hoses, chains, wheels/tires, motors, and electrical harnesses.
• Test equipment after repair or maintenance to verify safe operation and adherence to manufacturer and OSHA standards before returning to service.
• Maintain accurate service, inspection, and preventive maintenance records in the CMMS or maintenance system.
• Maintain tools, shop areas, and (if applicable) service vehicles in a clean, organized, and safe condition; follow 5S/6S practices.
• Support other facility maintenance tasks as needed (dock doors/levelers, minor building or refrigeration work, etc., depending on site).
